About Us

Who are we?

Really Wheelie Clean, is based in Rushden Northamptonshire, we are local privately run business specialising in the cleaning of residential and commercial wheelie bins providing an answer to the problem of eradicating smells and unwanted insects in rubbish bins.
Many people know that the problem exists but don’t have the time to do anything about it, or find it too difficult or honestly couldn’t think of anything worse to do.

So Really Wheelie Clean has been designed to provide onsite cleaning of residential and commercial wheelie bins on a regular basis providing a RELIABLE, REGULAR, SAFE service CARRIED OUT PROFESSIONALLY. In order to carry this out, we use a purpose built machine with in built water filtration so that bins can be cleaned with high pressure water which will be recycled within our machine.

We are members of the National Association of Wheeled Bin Washers. The framework we operate within is set out by the Environmental Agency and Water Providers to ensure an environmentally safe and legal procedure.

The Cleaning Process

  • We use purpose built cleaning equipment which is mounted on a trailer
  • On the same day that your refuse collection is carried out we will call at your premises and your empty bin is mechanically lifted into a cleaning position on our trailer
  • Then the inside of the bin is blasted with a pressure hose using only 100% biodegradable products
  • The waste water from this process is collected filtered and recycled within our unit
  • The inside of your bin will then be dried and sprayed with a disinfectant solution
  • The outside of your bin will be cleaned then marked as having been cleaned, before being returned to your premises
  • Please note that the bin will NOT be left in the middle of the pavement
  • Any waste material collected from the bins during the cleaning process is collected in plastic bags and disposed of in an approved manner
  • At the end of the day the water used in the bin cleaning process is discharged at a site approved by the Anglian Water Authority
